Well, the day of my departure just keeps drawing nearer and nearer, and that is a belittling feeling.
So much to do. So little time. (It's a cliché, but it's so true.)
My room looks as if my life threw up...junk is ERREWHERE.
And with tomorrow comes the task of trying to get all that junk into one backpack...that should be interesting.
But the Lord is in control. He will make my shirts and pants fit into my pack and still leave some room for some presents, y'all know how I am about presents...
I am excited. But I am also anxious. I just found out that recently there have been some "customs difficulties," meaning if I do or say something that the customs agents don't like, I won't be allowed into the country. So if I could get some prayers for that one they would be MUCH appreciated.
It's past midnight so I now officially leave for Wales TOMORROW.
And now that I've just about caused myself to have a panic attack I shall leave you all until I have something more exciting to write about...or until I stop hyperventilating.

ReplyDeletePraying for you Pheebs! We worried about customs when we left but it's really a breeze...some of them don't even talk to you. I love you and can't wait to read your updates :
ReplyDeletePhoebe! What a great idea doing a blog. Well, I'm a bit late reading this so I'm praying you made it into the country and all is well. I'm eager to hear all about your adventures! Even as I say the word, "adventure," I think about The Horse and His Boy and God's sovereignty over our lives. He knows every step and has His plan.
ReplyDeleteI got to see Jake in action on the GOLA team. We had the GOLA team over here for dinner and then got to see them doing some training at the B. He is having a blast.
You know I'm praying for ya, girl!
